Hong Kong has a sub-tropical climate with cool, dry winters and hot, humid summers.
Winter lasts from January to March with occasional cold fronts in January and February.
February is the coldest month in Hong Kong, and March and April are very pleasant.
May to August are hot and humid with occasional showers and thunderstorms.
July to September are the months when tropical cyclones hits Hong Kong.
Most of the annual rains falls between May and September with August being the wettest month. The driest month is January.
