 
Ayers Rock self drive
DAY 01: Alice Springs
Arrive into Alice Springs, collect your Remote Area Vehicle and drive to your chosen hotel. Overnight at the Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Hotel.
 DAY 02: Alice Springs to Glen Helen (150km)
Enjoy a sunrise Outback Hot Air Ballooning and Bush Breakfast. Head west from Alice through the spectacular Western MacDonnell Ranges. Simpson's Gap and Standley Chasm have been carved out over centuries by the harsh desert climate. After arrival at Glen Helen Lodge, visit Ormiston Gorge. Overnight at Glen Helen Homestead.
DAY 03: Glen Helen to Kings Canyon (130km)
Continue driving west to visit Palm Valley in the Finke Gorge National Park, then take the Mereenie Loop Road through Tylers Pass for wonderful views of Gosses Bluff before arriving into Kings Canyon.
Take a rim walk or stroll along the floor of the canyon. Overnight: Kings Canyon Resort.
DAY 04: Kings Canyon to Ayers Rock (250km)
Head south from Kings Canyon to join the Lasseter Highway into Yulara. A visit to The Olgas is a must before returning to Uluru for the famous Ayers Rock Sunset.
Overnight: (A) Sails in the Desert or (B) Outback Pioneer Hotel.
DAY 05: Ayers Rock
Early morning witness sunrise over Uluru. Take a walk around the Base before returning your car to the airport for departure.
