Day 1 (Phnom Penh)

Arrival in Phnom Penh. Travel by vehicle from Phnom Penh to Kep. Enroute between Kampot and Kep, visit karst formations and cave shrines. Kep province includes the former coastal resort of kep-sur-mer, established in French colonial times. The French originally established the costal resort of Kep-sur-mer in 1908. Now many of the former villas have fallen into disrepair, but the town retains a charmingly untouristed atmosphere. Overnight in Kep.

Day 2 (Kep)

Spand all day at leisure. Overnight in Kep

Day 3 ( Kep-Kampot)

Travel by vehicle from Kep to Kampot. Kampot is pleasant provincial capital with colonial-era architecture is located 148 km south of Phnom Penh on the trek Chhou River, and is a good base for seeing the province’s highlights. Take an excursion to Bokor. Bokor is situated in Dombrey National Park, home to over 100 wild Asian elephants, which are rarely sighted due to their reclusive nature. At the top of the mountain is Bokor Hill Station, first founded by the French in the 1920’s, only to be destroyed in the late 40’s by Vietnamese troops. Evoking a slightly ghost-town atmosphere, the former Bokor Palace Casino and the old Catholic Church. Overnight in Kampot.

Day 4 (Kampot)

Enjoy an excursion from Kampot including boat trip along the river. Travel by vehicle from Kampot to Phnom Penh.
