The land is home to some 170 million people composed of a multitude of ethnic groups all exhibiting harmony and hospitality .

Air , sea and land transportation provides access to all but the most isolated places in Indonesia .  Each one of the nine regions of Indonesia offers a fascinating wealth of culture , architecture , scenery and cuisine , each complementing the other but each quite different .

The best way to experience Indonesia is by individual tailor made odyssey .  Illustrated are some examples of popular itineraries which encompass a cross section of the highlights of Indonesia .  They may of course be amended , altered or combined in any way to incrporate any one of Indonesia's fabulous beach or mountain resorts .
