A Taste Of Korea
ste Of Korea
"The Land Of The Morning
Calm" is yet another blend of modern life together with highly traditional ethics and
religious beliefs. The capital Seoul is a modern city much rebuilt after the Korean
war but still preserving its architecture from earlier centuries.

After a couple of days exploring the tombs, fortress
ruins, and temples of Seoul and a visit to the Panmunjon Check Point where the armistice
was signed, we suggest an individual tour of Korea to include a trek in Mount Soraksan ,a visit to the ancient historic city of Gyeongju, and the
volcanic island of Jeju-do.
We can also organise special Homestay and Temple Stay programmes as well as lessons in TaeKwondo , the Korean traditional martial art
The climate is smaller to northern Europe with
hot summers and some snow in winter. South Korea is served by a network of domestic
flights and an excellent rail network making internal travel fast and efficient.
From Korea we suggest a combination with South
East Asia to formulate an interesting personal travel itinerary.
