SOUTHERN DELIGHTS
Day 01 Meet on arrival in Colombo and transfer to Galle for 2 nights at the Lighthouse , enroute visiting a Devil Mask factory
Day 02 Galle/Matara /Visit Weherehena & Waurukannala temples - Enroute visit Weligama to see the stilt fishermen, Marissa and the Buddhist temple at Dickwella . Check in at Peacock Beach Hotel - Afternoon visit the Bundala Wild Life Park
Day 03 Hambantota - Proceed to visit the Mulkirigala temple at Tangalle and the Kalametiya sanctuary . Continue on to the historical Tissamaharama Temple & Kataragama Shrine - Late afternoon visit Yala National Park .Overnight stay at Yala Village Hotel.
Day 04 Yala/Leave for Poonagala en route visiting Mahayana Buddhist Images at Buduruwagalla, The famous Buddhist Statues at Maligawila and also see Diyaluma Water Falls - Check in at Cranford Plantation Bungalow for overnight .
Day 05 Morning visit the Poonagala tea estate , the 17th Century Wooden Bridge at Bogoda and the Cave Temple at Dova . Proceed to Nuwara Eliya (optional side trip to Hortons Plains ) for overnight at the Grand Hotel.Evening leave on a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya for a drive through Little England .
Day 06 Depart for Kandy , arriving early afternoon for visit to the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnewella . Evening visit to the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and also witness a Kandyan dance performance.
Day 07 your chosen beach resort / or departure flight.
