Day 1: Beijing to Gubeikou (8 km of trekking)

Depart with your professional Great Wall guide for a two-hour road journey to the Gubeikou section of the Great Wall. You will be trekking for approximately 8 km, covered in 4-5 hours. Hike along a flat trail through fields until you reach the General Tower, offering breathtaking views of the Great Wall. This abandoned part of the Great Wall offers dramatic sceneries and finely preserved watchtowers. This evening, your accommodation will be a comfortable tent in the shadows of the Wall.

Watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine and dinner.

Beijing - Gubeikou (approx.2h): 100km

Hiking Trail (approx. 4-5 hours): 8 km

Day 2: Gubeikou to Beijing (8 km of trekking)

Wake up to an unforgettable sunrise alongside the Great Wall. After breakfast, begin the with a short hike down the Wall to the valley. Your driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
